Sandra Cauffman, is an example and an inspiration for all young people in Costa Rica. Born in a humble home in Hatillo, San José, Cauffman, overcame a lot of obstantes and challenges in her life, until she reached her dream and became a NASA engineer.

Sandra is a Specialist in Electrical and Physical Engineering and her profile has been highlighted by UN Women, as a positive example for women, especially young women and girls.
